The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is the perfect chocolate chip cookie! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, loaded up with chocolate chips, easy to make, and amazingly delicious!


​Ingredients:
​

1 cup (225 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature (softened)
3/4 cup (160 grams) light brown sugar
3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated white sugar
3 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon (4 grams) baking soda
1/2 teaspoon (2 grams) baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon (6 grams) pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon (4 grams) salt
2 large (100 grams) eggs, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups (270 grams) semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips

Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

  • In a bowl mix together 3 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon baking powder, 1 ½ chocolate chips. Set aside.

  • Cream together 1 cup of butter and sugars until combined.

  • Add in 2 eggs, one at a time. Add 1 ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract, beat until fluffy.

  • Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.

  • Drop about 2 tablespoons of batter (35 grams) (depending on how large you like your cookies) onto the prepared baking sheets.

  • Bake in preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes. Take them out when they are just starting to turn brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE!

  • Cool completely on wire rack.
