This is the perfect chocolate chip cookie! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, loaded up with chocolate chips, easy to make, and amazingly delicious!
Ingredients: 1 cup (225 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature (softened) 3/4 cup (160 grams) light brown sugar 3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated white sugar 3 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon (4 grams) baking soda 1/2 teaspoon (2 grams) baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoon (6 grams) pure vanilla extract 1 teaspoon (4 grams) salt 2 large (100 grams) eggs, at room temperature 1 1/2 cups (270 grams) semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a bowl mix together 3 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon baking powder, 1 ½ chocolate chips. Set aside.
Cream together 1 cup of butter and sugars until combined.
Add in 2 eggs, one at a time. Add 1 ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract, beat until fluffy.
Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
Drop about 2 tablespoons of batter (35 grams) (depending on how large you like your cookies) onto the prepared baking sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes. Take them out when they are just starting to turn brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE!
